The Trade On Sprots – Ratings & Bets Service
We’ve previously had positive experiences with Trade On Sports (TOS) through other exchange trials and have been members for many years. TOS Ratings & Bets has existed in various formats over a long period. While many TOS services focus on in-play edges or trading strategies, Ratings & Bets is built around straightforward betting. Unlike many tipster services that provide selections with difficult to achieve odds, TOS aims to consistently beat the sharp bookmakers and exchanges, with all selections and recorded results based on Pinnacle prices.
Trade On Sports has grown significantly over the years and evolved in multiple ways, not only in its strategies and proprietary tools, but also in its team. Originally founded and run solely by Pete Nordsted, a well-known football betting expert and author, the platform has since expanded to include several respected specialists across different sports niches. This expanded team brings a depth of knowledge and a range of analytical perspectives to the service.
The TOS team is constantly researching new profitable angles within their chosen sports and regularly testing ideas. The recent rise of AI has introduced new methods for identifying potential edges and refining predictive models. While the inner workings of the models remain largely undisclosed, many of the selections they generate are released to members under the Trade On Sports – Ratings & Bets banner.
Today, Trade On Sports operates primarily via Telegram. For those unfamiliar, Telegram is a communication platform that enables private channels, group discussions, and automated notifications. Members subscribe to private channels where Ratings & Bets selections are posted. These selections may appear across multiple channels, so it’s important to monitor all channels to which you have access. Installing the Telegram mobile app allows you to receive instant notifications and customise which channels trigger alerts.
It’s worth noting that some of the models behind shared bets are labelled as being in “trial” mode. This typically means the model may only have been tested across a few hundred live bets and therefore does not yet appear on the official TOS Ratings & Bets results page. Results are added once a model has been sufficiently proven. Sensible staking is advised on these trial models. While they are built on extensive research and data work, live betting validation is essential. That said, a meaningful degree of confidence is required before any trial model is shared with members.
Regular performance report documents are also posted within the Telegram channels, outlining how the models are performing and detailing plans for refinement and evolution. It’s clear that considerable effort and analytical work underpin the selections provided.
Service Pricing & Membership Packages
Trade On Sports offers tiered subscription options across its Football, Tennis, and Horse Racing services. For a modest additional fee, you can upgrade to the Platinum package, which provides full access to all TOS services. The Platinum membership is priced at £49.95 per four-week cycle, representing excellent value when you consider that the Football Gold package alone costs £39.95. For just an extra £10, you gain access to the complete TOS portfolio.
Platinum membership also includes additional benefits, most notably automation. Subscribers at this level can integrate the TOS platform with BF Bot Manager, enabling automated placement of selected bets and trades from the core services. If you are considering joining Trade On Sports, the Platinum package is well worth evaluating given the relatively small price difference and the bonus features it provides.
Ratings & Bets is not available as a standalone subscription. Instead, it is included as an added benefit for Platinum members. To access the Trade On Sports Ratings & Bets selections, you simply need to subscribe to the Platinum package.
Exchange Trial
As discussed, the Trade On Sports Ratings & Bets selections are drawn from a variety of sports and multiple betting models. Some of these models are long-established and fully proven, while others are newer and currently classified as being in a testing phase.
For the purposes of this exchange trial, we intend to follow all selections issued by the service, including those from test models. It is assumed, with a reasonable degree of confidence, that any model labelled as “test” has undergone sufficient research and due diligence before selections are released to members. At the conclusion of the trial, we will clearly highlight which results came from test systems and present performance broken down by individual model.
One consistent feature across all models is the typical odds range. Selections generally fall into the Match Winner, Under/Over, or Asian Handicap markets, usually priced between 1.7 and 2.5. Given this relatively moderate odds profile, a large betting bank is not required.
For this trial, we will operate with a £500 combined bank across all models, staking 2% of the original bank per selection (£10 per point). Trade On Sports records all Ratings & Bets results using level staking, so our approach will mirror their official reporting method.
